On-Site Service
ABMS On-Site Response Time is 4 Business Hours
On-Site Service is recommended when Carry-In Service will not adequately resolve system problems. It is also recommended for customers who would have difficulty bringing their equipment to our shop. In some cases the problem is directly related to a factor at the customer's location, such as a defective phone line or DSL/Cable Modem. Intermittent problems, which can't be traced in our shop, may require a Home or Office visit. Our expert Technicians can isolate such problems more efficiently with an On-Site Service call.
Many Network problems require On-Site Service. But, if a specific Workstation is having a problem, such as a failing Hard Drive, Carry-In Service is less expensive and more effective. Another example, Data Recovery on a Network Server, must be done in our shop.
A qualified Technician will be sent to your location to repair the problems you request. Extensive hardware or software modifications, upgrades and/or repairs may require two or more Technicians, with your approval, in order to expedite completion of work. *The hourly rate will be billed for each Technician. The billing rate will be calculated by the On-Site Service Labor Rate times two, three, etc. Technicians. (There is no additional charge for a Supervisor accompanying a Technician.)
When you call with an On-Site Service request, it is very important that the details of the failure are clearly stated to us. The Technician assigned to your On-Site Service call will always bring replacement parts and other resources, based upon your description of the issues. The person having the problem must be available, and payment is required upon completion. If you need to change or cancel a service call, you must do so prior to our arrival at your location. Our Minimum Labor Charge will be billed for any service call not properly cancelled.
